The Legend Who Started It All

Every movement has an origin story — and ours begins with one small dog who lived like a giant.

Before Max and Luna, before the mascots, before United In Style even had a name… there was Gizmo.

The OG.

The pioneer.

The heavyweight champion of naps.

The undeniable ruler of couches, and any box left on the floor.

Legend Gizmo.

Gizmo wasn’t just a pug…

He was a lifestyle.

This was the kind of dog who walked into a room and everyone suddenly sat up straighter. Employees whispered. Birds stopped chirping. UPS drivers delivered packages respectfully at the door.

He had that kind of energy.

He was wise.

He was majestic.

He had zero interest in cardio.

Gizmo could fall asleep anywhere — on a couch, on a porch, on top of your freshly folded donation piles — and somehow still look like he was deep in meditation, connecting with the universe.

As the story goes, Gizmo gave United In Style its first spark of inspiration simply by doing what he did best:

Existing with maximum confidence.

But eventually, as all legends do, Gizmo passed the torch…

…mostly because he passed away after living a long, pampered, extremely snack-fueled life.

And that’s when Max’s journey began.

Enter Max: The Overexcited Successor

Max didn’t choose to be a mascot.

He didn’t want responsibility.

Honestly, Max just thought he was applying for a job where he’d get free shirts and snacks.

But when he stepped into the United In Style office for the first time, something happened.

He saw Gizmo’s portrait on the wall —

a beautifully framed image of a pug who looked like he had:

• eaten well,
• slept well,
• and ruled the house with an iron paw.

And Max decided:

“Yep. I can fill those shoes… probably.”

Spoiler:

He cannot.

But he’s trying SO HARD.

Max’s Training Under Gizmo’s Legacy

According to legend, when Max puts on his black United In Style shirt, he can feel Gizmo’s presence guiding him.

Gizmo’s voice seems to whisper things like:

• “Take yourself a good nap, champ.”
• “Snacks first, responsibilities later.”
• “Walk confidently, even if you have no idea what you’re doing.”
• “Drooling is natural. Own it.”

Max takes this very seriously.

So seriously, in fact, that he once tried to take a “leadership nap” on top of outgoing orders.

He calls it “Gizmo Mode.”

Everyone else calls it “Why are the packages covered in pug hair again?”

Why Max Is Here Today

Max’s mission is simple:

Continue the legacy Gizmo started… in his own chaotic way.

Where Gizmo was calm, Max is excitable.

Where Gizmo was wise, Max is confused 70% of the time.

Where Gizmo walked slow and regal, Max sprints like he’s late for class.

But Max has one thing in common with the legend who came before him:

A huge heart.

Max believes in:

• helping others,
• spreading kindness,
• wearing his United In Style merch proudly,
• and carrying on Gizmo’s dream —
  even if he trips over it half the time.

How Luna Fits Into All This

Luna, of course, watches Max try to become Gizmo 2.0 and just sighs.

She loves him…

…but she also has to remind him NOT to eat the donation items.

Max tries.

Luna supervises.

Gizmo watches proudly.

It all works out.

The Mascot Lineage Lives On

Gizmo started the heart of the brand.

Max carries the torch (and sometimes drops it).

Luna keeps everyone alive.

Together, they honor a legacy that began with a legendary pug who believed in comfort, kindness, and naps.

Gizmo would be proud.

Even if he’d also be wondering where the snacks are.
